The Nepal T20I
Triangular Series, which will also feature the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and
Hong Kong, has an 18-man list that the hosts Nepal revealed on Monday.
Sandeep Lamichhane,
Nepal's premier bowler, withdrew from the tri-series on Friday, citing
"difficult and challenging times" and the need for time to
"revitalize" himself.
The case of Lamichhane
being accused of raping a child is now in court.
On October 30, the
regional final will begin in Kathmandu, and Lamichhane is anticipated to be
back on national duty then.
After
recovering from an injury he suffered during a practice game
before the 19th Asian Games cricket tournament, Lalit Rajbanshi has
returned to the team.
Rajbanshi will direct
Nepal's spin assault alongside Mausam Dhakal, who will have the opportunity to
demonstrate his spin talent without Lamichhane. Dhakal's lone appearance for
Nepal took place in July of this year at the ACC Emerging Cup versus the UAE
'A'.
Additionally, Lokesh Bam has rejoined the team for the first time since March of last year.
The batting lineup will also feature wicketkeeper Aasif Sheikh, batsman Kushal Bhurtel, Kushal Malla, and Dipendra Singh Airee in addition to skipper Rohit Paudel. As a standby wicketkeeper, Binod Bhandari will be used.
Along with Sompal Kami,
Gulsan Jha, and Avinash Bohara, Karan KC will be in charge of the speed attack.
Pratis GC has yet to play in a T20I game.
