Bara, A traffic police officer on duty in Bara has died in a collision involving a bus. The incident occurred at Amlekhganj Chowk in Jitpur Simara Municipality at around 11:15 PM on Friday night. The deceased officer, Munton Yadav, was 29 years old and was on duty when the collision happened.

Inspector Gurung mentioned that the collision occurred during a routine check, and due to the bus not applying brakes, Yadav suffered severe injuries. He was immediately taken to the Birgunj-based Bayodha Hospital for treatment, where, unfortunately, he passed away during the night.
The driver of the bus, responsible for the collision, has been arrested by the police. Inspector Gurung also informed that Yadav's body has been kept at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj for post-mortem examination.
