Free Computer Classes Launched in Jitpur, Bara District By Ward Chairperson Sunil Kumar Gupta

Jeetpursimra Bara, The community school Sri Fakira Giri Rajeshwar Giri Secondary School, located in Ward 7 of Jeetpursimra sub-metropolitan city in Bara district, is breaking barriers by launching free computer classes and distributing computers. This is truly an amazing effort. On Wednesday, Madhesh Provincial Assembly member Devnarayan Chaudhary inaugurated the free computer classes at Fakira Giri Rajeshwar Giri Secondary School. These classes, which began on May 15th, will continue throughout the term of Ward Chairperson Sunil Kumar Gupta.

During the event, Assembly Member Chaudhary highlighted the importance of providing computer education to create aware and capable citizens who can compete in the global job market. He praised the initiative taken by the ward to offer free computer classes, emphasizing that it aligns with the goal of integrating technology into education.

 Mayor Rajan Paudel also spoke at the event, commending the progress of Fakira Giri Rajeshwar Giri Secondary School and pledging ongoing support for its physical and educational development. He emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to improve the educational standards in Jitpur-Simara, which currently lag behind other municipalities.

 Ward Chairperson Sunil Kumar Gupta explained that the program is funded by the ward's budget and will run throughout his tenure. He pointed out the efficiency and benefits of using computers for collecting, processing, communicating, and securely storing information.

 

Free Computer Classes

Deputy Mayor Bhola Prasad Adhikari noted that the computer classes will accommodate around 400 students from all wards of the sub-metropolitan area. Each session can host up to 40 students, with classes held both in the morning and evening.

 The program received support from Surya Nepal, which donated 15 computers, a UPS, and a printer, while the ward office contributed 20 computers. The event also saw participation from ward members Sita Upreti, Lalita Devi Paswan, and Nurul Hoda.
