The Jeetpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City has allocated a budget of 50 million Nepali Rupees for the operation of the Bhawanipur Jeetpur water supply project. This budget allocation is part of the sub-metropolitan's annual policy and program for the fiscal year 2081/082.
This is the first time the sub-metropolitan has allocated funds for this project, which has been awaiting operation for a long time. The water supply system, which has been in a dilapidated state for decades, will be renovated to provide clean drinking water to Ward No. 5 and 7, along with other wards of the sub-metropolitan area.
The allocation of 50 million NPR to the Bhawanipur Jeetpur Drinking Water and Sanitation Consumer Committee has garnered significant praise on social media. The Mayor and the sub-metropolitan authorities have been lauded for their efforts in addressing this long-standing issue.
This budget allocation aims to ensure that residents have access to safe and clean drinking water, improving the overall health and well-being of the community.
