Broad Discussion Held to Tackle Jitpur Market Management Issues

Pawan Singh jeetpur - In a collective effort to restore order and enhance the charm of Jitpur’s bustling market, a broad discussion was held today at the office of Ward No. 7 under Jitpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City. The meeting focused on market regulation, traffic management, and waste disposalissues that have long affected both residents and visitors.

Jitpur Market Management Issues

Ward Chairperson Sunil Kumar Gupta emphasized that unmanaged traffic and an unorganized market have been marring the town’s aesthetic appeal and diminishing its potential as a commercial hub. “Jitpur is known across Nepal for offering affordable and quality goods,” said Gupta. “But we cannot overlook the growing challenges shoppers and visitors face here. It’s time for action, and we’ll implement practical solutions without delay.”

Gupta further shared that immediate steps would be taken to address these issues through collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Another pressing concern raised during the discussion was waste management. The Ward Office, in coordination with various bodies, is working on a long-term solution to ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the area.

The meeting saw active participation from community leaders and local stakeholders, reflecting a shared sense of responsibility. Among those present were Ward Members Nurulla Asari and Lalita Devi, Senior Vice President of the Jitpursimara Chamber of Commerce Manoj Gupta, Chief of the District Traffic Office, Chief of Jitpur Area Police Office J.J. Karki, Ward 7 Advisor Raju Kumar Singh, women’s leader Marjin Khatun, Municipal Police Chief Rabin Kumar Khadka, and Jitpur Youth Club President Bhunesh Paswan.

The gathering ended on a hopeful note, with a mutual commitment to transform Jitpur into a more organized, safe, and welcoming town for everyone.
