Nijgadh, Bara – Under-secretary Rajendra Bahadur Aryal officially took charge as the new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of Nijgadh Municipality in Bara on Monday. He was warmly welcomed by acting CAO Shiva Devkota and other staff members with garlands upon his arrival at the office.

Aryal's transfer from the Ministry of Health and Population was effective as per a ministerial decision on Baisakh 3 (approximately April 16, 2025). The Ministry's official website had announced his deputation to Nijgadh as the Chief Administrative Officer, and he reported for duty today.
Aryal replaces the previous Chief Administrative Officer, Yubaraj Acharya, who has been transferred to Suryabinayak Municipality.
Following his assumption of duty, an introductory program was held for Aryal with the municipality's employees and elected representatives. The program was chaired by the Mayor, with Jeevan Gautam facilitating and conducting the event.
