Nepal won the women's T-20 series, which had teams from four countries. They clinched the title in an exciting final match against Hong Kong, winning by 13 runs.
This final took place at the Biomass Oval Cricket Ground in
Kuala Lumpur, but it had some interruptions due to rain. To decide the result,
they used something called the Duckworth Lewis method.
Nepal chose to bowl first after winning the toss and faced
off against Malaysia. Malaysia scored 101 runs but lost six wickets in their 20
overs. Nepal, when it was their turn to bat, needed 120 runs to win. However,
after playing for 5.3 overs, the game had to be stopped because of bad weather.
At the point of the interruption, Nepal had scored 37 runs and lost one wicket. Indu Burma was at the crease with 19 runs, and Sita Rana Magar had made 13 runs. Before that, Kajal Shrestha was out without scoring. Since the rain didn't allow them to continue playing, Nepal was declared the winner.
