According to
representatives for Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, a Nepal Airlines
Corporation (NAC) flight carrying 253 Nepalese students departed from Tel Aviv,
Israel, as planned for the return of Nepali residents from Israel. At 1:30 AM
local time, the aircraft is anticipated to land at Tribhuvan International
Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu.
The flight was
initially scheduled to arrive at TIA at 9:30 PM, however there has been a delay
because to unforeseen circumstances.
All of the people
traveling on this particular rescue airplane are Nepali students studying in
Israel. A government delegation headed by Foreign Minister NP Saud traveled to
Israel the day before to help safeguard the students' safe return.
About 400 Nepali people
who have been residing in Israel are relieved by this return trip; many of them
had filled out the requisite online papers to indicate their intention to
return home. Ten Nepali students tragically passed away as a result of a
terrible occurrence that took place during the fighting with the militant group
Hamas, according to the Nepali Embassy in Israel. Before being sent home, the
remains of these students must first undergo post-mortem examinations in
Israel.
The administration will
inform the public of the impending repatriation operations, and the remaining
citizens will probably shortly return to their homes. This rescue effort shows
the government's dedication to safeguarding the safety and well-being of its
residents abroad and serves as a beacon of hope for the Nepali nationals
trapped in Israel. These students are reunited with their family and loved ones
thanks to our endeavor, which acts as a lifeline for them when they are lost in
a new country.
