Nijgadh Bara - Agriculture Students of Sri Gauri Shankar Secondary School in the Nijgarh Municipality of the Bara District demonstrated their commitment to the environment today by planning a tree planting program on the school grounds, which is gratifying.
A total of 118 plants, representing 26 diverse species including cotton, cycas, royal palm, African tulip, Araucaria araucana, Neelmohur, and Gulmohur, were carefully planted as part of the green initiative. Mr. Badrinaran Jha, the principal of the school, said that.
The College Management
Committee President, Ravi Kumar Vartaula, took the lead in organizing the
event, which attracted enthusiastic participation from a variety of sources.
The organization also received support from committee members Thaneshwar
Sapkota, Pema Ghemcho, Rama Adhikari, Tikamaya Lama, and others.
It is hoped that when
the planted saplings take root, they will improve the general health of the
ecosystem in addition to beautifying the area around the school. The
cooperative effort of students, school administrators, and community members
demonstrates the possibility of constructive transformation when communities
unite around a common goal.
The Teacher Parents
Association (PTA) was notably well-represented, with members Narnath Gautam,
Sharda Khadka, Hari Phuyal, Pravin Upreti, and Tilak Adhikari, as well as
President Deepak Sapkota, lending their support to the planting push.
