Nijgadh Bara, The murder case of Haribhushan Kushwaha, the principal of Ramraja Multiple Campus in Bara, has taken a new turn. It has been revealed that someone from his own village killed him due to personal enmity. A video clip from the crime scene has shed light on the case, narrowing down the police investigation.
The videos captured by the public have reached the police, according to an investigating officer. In the video, Kushwaha names Surendra Kushwaha from his village as the shooter. This statement has helped identify the murderer, according to the police.
Chief SP Mahendra Khadka acknowledged being aware of the recorded video. The acting Chief District Officer of Bara, Chhabiraman Bhattarai, confirmed that they have received a video of the victim speaking about the incident after being shot.
In an interview Acting CDO Bhattarai said, "After being injured, he clearly named the person who shot him. Both SP Sahib and I have the video. In the video, Haribhushan Kushwaha states that Surendra Kushwaha from his village shot him."
A police source confirmed that Surendra Kushwaha, who was named in the video, is a former army personnel. SP Khadka also mentioned that the investigation is proceeding from various angles.
SP Khadka revealed that the injured Kushwaha had called him and provided all the details of the incident. "After being shot, Kushwaha informed me about everything. However, I cannot disclose further details as the investigation is ongoing," said SP Khadka.
So far, five people have been arrested in connection with the case. The deceased, Haribhushan Kushwaha, was a resident of Khajuria, Ward No. 2, Adarsh Kotwal Municipality.
