Jeetpur Simara Ward 6 Breaks Ground on New Office Building

Jeetpur, Bara,  Jeetpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan City Ward No. 6 has commenced construction of its own office building, ending years of operating from a rented space. The foundation stone for the new six-room structure was laid on Sunday in a ceremony attended by prominent local figures.

Madhesh Province Assembly member Dev Narayan Chaudhary and Jeetpur Simara Deputy Mayor Bhola Prasad Adhikari jointly officiated the groundbreaking ceremony. The new building, with a budget of 5.3 million Nepali Rupees, will provide a permanent base for the ward office, which has been functioning from a rented house in Nagoul, Ward No. 6, for the past eight years.

Ward 6 Breaks Ground on New Office Building

A significant act of community support enabled the project. Local philanthropist Badrul Hoda Ansari donated a plot of land, one kattha and five dhur, to the ward office. During the ceremony, Ansari formally handed over the land ownership certificate to Ward Chairman Kaimudin Ansari.

The foundation stone laying event was attended by acting Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 3, Maya Bishwakarma, land donor Badrul Hoda Ansari, Madhesh Province Akhil Nepal Backward Class Federation Secretary Anil Kumar Gupta, Ward Chairman of Ward No. 7 Sunil Kumar Gupta, Ward No. 6 ward members, representatives from local organizations, and media personnel. This new building signifies a step forward for the ward, providing a dedicated space to serve its residents.
