Baragadhi, Bara – The 5th Annual General Meeting of Maa Saraswati Community Learning Centre was successfully held at the premises of Shree Nepal National Secondary School, Bishunpura, Ward No. 2 of Baragadhi Rural Municipality.
The event was inaugurated by the Vice-Chairperson of Baragadhi Rural Municipality, Laxmi Devi Ray, who cut the ribbon and lit a traditional oil lamp (panas) to mark the beginning of the programme. The meeting was presided over by the Centre's Chairperson, Dinesh Jaiswal, who also presented the annual report highlighting the institution’s progress and activities.
The event saw participation from several distinguished
guests, including Ward Chairperson Jogindra Sah Kalwar, Executive Member Renu
Devi Jaiswal, Chairman of Gyan Ganga Community Learning Centre Parmendra Kumar
Faujdar, Headmaster of Nepal National Basic School, Malahi, Dambar Bahadur
Singh, and local social worker Jwala Sah. They shared their thoughts on the significance
of community learning centres in promoting education and lifelong learning.
Additionally, the gathering was attended by Bhishma
Pitama Prasad Sah, Chairman of Jan Vikas Community Learning Centre, Sukhith
Pathara, Ward Member Manoj Sahani, social worker Dayashankar Ray, Vishun Dayal
Sahani, as well as local representatives, delegates from various organisations,
members of the learning centre’s executive committee, journalists, and local
residents.
The welcoming remarks were delivered by Suman Kumari
Jaiswal, while Mukesh Jaiswal coordinated the event. The meeting highlighted
the centre's commitment to empowering the community through education and
lifelong learning initiatives.
