Pawan singh Bara - In a move aimed at fostering greater transparency and accountability within its educational institutions, the Jitpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City has requested all community schools within its jurisdiction to submit their annual income and expenditure statements. Adding a personal touch to the directive, Mayor Rajan Paudel has also instructed the schools to provide detailed information regarding the appointment of their teachers and staff.
Chief Administrative Officer Shiva Ji Prasad, through the issued notice, emphasized the need for schools to present a comprehensive breakdown of their staff, including their positions, pay scales, nature of appointment, and monthly salaries, all within a specified format. Furthermore, the municipality has asked for a clear distinction in the submitted data, separating the details of teachers and staff receiving salaries and allowances from the municipal or ward levels from those paid through the school's own resources.
Highlighting the collaborative spirit of this initiative, the municipal executive has also mandated the inclusion of the school management committee's decision in support of this data submission. The Jitpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City has set a deadline of Baisakh 22nd for all community schools to furnish these crucial details. This step underscores the local government's commitment to ensuring the efficient and transparent management of resources within its community schools, ultimately benefiting the students and the wider community.
