Get ready for an exciting final game in Nijgadh, Bara! Two teams, Ward Number 11 and Ward Number 4 Real Betis, will play for the championship in the First Bikal Regmi Memorial Junior Football Tournament.
Ward Number 11 made it to the final after winning their semi-final match against Ward Number 7 on Sunday. The score was 1-0. Nikas Guru scored the winning goal for Ward Number 11 near the end of the game. His shot from close to the penalty box in the 38th minute was the only goal of the match.
In the other semi-final game on Friday, Ward Number 4
played really well and won against Ward Number 1 with a score of 4 goals to
none. This win put Ward Number 4 in the final.
After the Ward Number 11 game, Rahul Dhami Kumar, who wears jersey number 13 for Ward Number 11, was named the best player of the match. A respected journalist, Gokul Ghorasaine, along with Bibhamaya Magar from a local organization, and Kamala Regmi, the mother of the person the tournament is remembering, Tikkal Regmi, gave Rahul a prize of 1,000 rupees and a trophy.
The final game will be played on Tuesday, Baisakh 30th
(a Nepali date), at 3:00 in the afternoon at the Shaheed Hiralal Stadium. The
team that wins the tournament will get 51,000 rupees and a trophy. The team
that comes in second place will get 31,000 rupees. It sounds like it will be a
great final match!
