KHOPAWA, BARA – A 15-day skill development training on nail art concluded in Bishunpurwa, Ward No. 2 of Baragadhi Rural Municipality, empowering local women with skills for self-employment. Certificates were distributed to the participants in a ceremony held on Saturday.
The training was organized by Manakamana Beauty Parlor of Kalaiya with support from the Khopawa Health Post. The closing ceremony was attended by prominent local officials, including Ashok Kumar Jaiswal, Chairperson of Baragadhi Rural Municipality, as the chief guest. Other dignitaries present were Vice-Chairperson Laxmi Devi Rai, Executive Member Renu Devi Jaiswal, and Ward No. 2 Chairperson Jogindra Sah Kalwar.
Speaking at the event, Chairperson Jaiswal highlighted the vital role of such skill-based training in empowering women. "Self-reliance for women is only possible through education and skills," Jaiswal stated. "Now, women can start their own businesses even while living in their villages."
Organizers noted that the nail art training was designed to inspire women to enter the beauty industry. The program, which was facilitated by Mukesh Jaiswal, saw enthusiastic participation from local women.
