Nijgadh, Bara – A five-day training program dedicated to enhancing women's leadership development and empowerment has commenced in Nijgadh-8, Bara. The initiative is organized by Mahila Awaj Nepal, with crucial support from the Nijgadh Municipality's executive targeted fund.
The training officially began on Ashad 1st. The inauguration ceremony was graced by prominent figures, including the municipality's Deputy Chief, Sommaya Thing, who attended as the chief guest. Other special guests included Ward No. 8 Chairman Subarna Lama and executive member Manmaya Tamang. Also in attendance were Ward No. 12 member Sukumaya Moktan, trainers Badriprasad Chimoriya and Krishnaprasad Kharel, along with members of the organizing committee and participating women.
The
comprehensive training program is designed to equip women with essential skills
and knowledge in areas such as leadership, effective decision-making,
coordination, and active participation in local governance. This effort
aims to foster greater involvement of women in community development and
decision-making processes.
