Legal Empowerment Training for Dalit Women Kicks Off in Nijgadh-2

Nijgadh Bara- A four-day "Legal Capacity Development Orientation Program" designed to empower Dalit women with crucial legal knowledge officially commenced today at the Janata Assembly Hall in Singhoul, Nijgadh-2.

The comprehensive program is a collaborative effort, organized by Fast Track Media Pvt. Ltd. with the financial backing of the Executive Office of Nijgadh Municipality. It falls under the Municipality's Executive Targeted Fund, underscoring a dedicated commitment to supporting vulnerable communities within its jurisdiction.

Ward No. 2 Chairperson, Rajan Shrestha, officially inaugurated the event, highlighting the local government's proactive role in promoting legal awareness and inclusivity. The training curriculum is specifically tailored to strengthen participants' understanding of laws related to fundamental rights, discrimination, domestic violence, and practical access to justice.

This initiative reflects the ongoing efforts within Nijgadh Municipality to promote legal empowerment and foster greater inclusivity for marginalized communities, particularly Dalit women, who have historically faced significant social and economic disadvantages.
