Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City Postpones Second Assembly Meeting

 Bara – The second meeting of the Municipal Assembly for Jeetpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City has been postponed. The sub-metropolitan city announced the postponement through a public notice, citing Sub-rule (6) of Rule 3 under the 2075 Municipal Assembly Operation Regulations.

The meeting was originally scheduled for 9:00 AM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 (Ashar 18, 2082 BS), at the Classic Plaza Hotel in Simara. However, the administration stated that the decision to postpone was made at the mayoral level. The notice, signed by Chief Administrative Officer Shantaraj Prasai, officially conveyed this information.

 This postponement follows the initial meeting on June 23 (Ashar 9), which was also adjourned shortly after commencing. Mayor Rajan Paudel had called for the second meeting on July 2 after the Executive Committee failed to approve the agenda for the Municipal Assembly session.
