Sunil Kumar Mahaseth from Siraha has been elected as the President of the Madhes Pradesh Cricket Association. This decision was made during the second convention held in Kalaiya on Saturday, where a new 13-member executive committee was formed under Mahaseth's leadership. The newly formed executive committee includes Pawan Kumar Gupta from Rautahat as the Vice President, Ayush Shrestha from Saptari as the Secretary, Baraka Subas Jayaswal as the Treasurer, and various other members from different districts of Madhes Pradesh.
The inauguration of this convention was conducted by Krishna Yadav, the Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development in Madhes Pradesh. It's noteworthy that while the convention for the Nepal Cricket Association is scheduled for October, the provincial associations, including Madhes Pradesh, have already completed their conventions. Koshi, Gandaki, and Sudurpashchim Pradesh have concluded their conventions, while Bagmati, Lumbini, and Karnali Pradesh are yet to hold theirs.
