Jeetpur-Simara Sub-Metropolitan Ward No. 7 in Bara is all set to commence the Shri Durga Puja celebrations, starting tomorrow. The festive season begins with the grand Dashain festival, which is significant for Hindus and is celebrated for several days, including Navaratri. During Navaratri, devotees fast and only consume fruits for nine days.
According to Chairman Sah, this year's celebrations will include various cultural programs and a Ravan Dahan event will be organized in Jitpur to mark Lord Rama's victory over Ravana during his 14-year exile.
