the main objective of which is to make people aware of the importance of Ayurveda in improving health and daily lifestyle. And it has to be publicized as much as possible. According to mythological beliefs, Lord Dhanvantari appeared during the churning of the ocean on the Trayodashi date of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month. Lord Dhanvantari, who holds the nectar pot in his hand, is considered the father of Ayurveda and the physician of the gods, hence the Union Ministry of AYUSH decided to celebrate National Ayurveda Day on Dhanvantari Jayanti in the year 2016 since then this trend has continued. This year, National Ayurveda Day is being celebrated today i.e. 10th November 2023.

Ayurveda is one of the world's oldest medical systems, originating in India five thousand years ago. Ayurvedic medicines help in keeping a person free from diseases and physical pain. On National Ayurveda Day,

The science of Ayurveda is based on the belief that the human body is a microscopic part of the universe and that health is achieved when the human body is in a state of balance with nature. Ayurveda is an approach to health that takes into account physical, mental, and spiritual aspects. It is based on three doshas and three principles Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Ayurveda is considered an integral part of the healthcare practices of India and this system of treatment is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO).
