Bara- A
new postal service office has been inaugurated in Khopwa, Baragadhi Rural
Municipality, Bara. As part of the Nepalese government's policy to establish a
postal office in every municipality, the Baragadhi Postal Office was officially
opened today (Saturday) in Ward No. 3 of the rural municipality.
Rural Municipality Chairperson Ashok Kumar
Jaiswal and Vice Chairperson Laxmi Devi Ray led the inauguration ceremony, which saw them jointly cut the ribbon to mark
the office's opening. The event, organized by the District Postal Office,
Bara, included several local government officials,
including ward chairpersons, municipal executive members, and community
representatives.
At the event, Chairperson Jaiswal highlighted the importance of postal services
in connecting communities and ensuring efficient service delivery. He urged
locals to make full use of the newly established office, which aims to provide
faster and more accessible postal services.
The
ceremony was attended by Ward No. 1 Chairperson Suresh Prasad Chaudhary, Ward
No. 2 Chairperson Jogindra Sah Kalwar, Ward No. 4 Chairperson and municipal
government spokesperson Pannala Sah, and Ward No. 5 Chairperson Manejar
Chaudhary. Other attendees included municipal executive members Suresh Ram,
Renu Devi Jaiswal, Yugwati Ram, Sangita Kumari Chaudhary, and Dhanmanti
Malahin, along with District Postal Office officials, journalists, and local
residents.
The
establishment of this postal service office is expected to enhance
communication and administrative efficiency in the region, making it easier for
residents to access essential services closer to home.
