Pawan Singh, Jeetpur- After a long wait of seven years, the vibrant spirit of Jitpur is set to come alive once again. Starting from Jestha 1 (May 14), the Jitpursimara Trade and Cultural Festival 2082 will bring 25 days of excitement, entertainment, and economic opportunity to the heart of Bara.
Organized by The Lead Entertainment & Advertising, and co-hosted by Ward No. 7 of Jitpursimara Sub-Metropolitan City, the festival aims to re-establish Jitpur’s identity and boost the local economy. Speaking about the festival, Ward Chairperson Sunil Kumar Gupta shared, “This is more than just an event, it's a platform to showcase our culture, energize our local businesses, and bring our community together after years of anticipation.”
The festival will be held at the Shanti Tole Sports Ground, which can
accommodate up to 10,000 visitors at a
time. Organizers are expecting over 100,000 people to visit during the 25-day celebration.
Festival director Bimal Khadka revealed that the event will feature a wide
range of attractions from diverse commercial stalls and exhibitions to a
children’s amusement park and games. Most notably, each day will see
performances by renowned national and
international artists, making the festival a cultural highlight for
people of all ages.
SS Patel, the festival's press coordinator and spokesperson,
emphasized that the event will also serve as a promotional platform for the tourism destinations of Bara and Parsa districts.
“This is an opportunity to not only entertain and uplift our economy but also
to invite the world to explore the beauty and potential of our region,” he
said.
From food lovers and music fans to families and
