Nijgadh, Bara – A five-day women's empowerment and orientation training officially commenced on Monday at Kachhadiya Tole in Nijgadh Municipality Ward No. 1. The program, operating under the Municipality's Executive Targeted Fund, aims to bolster the capabilities and awareness of local women.
The training is a collaborative effort between Fast
Track Media Pvt. Ltd., who organized the event, and the Nijgadh
Municipality. Ward Chairman Mangale Lopchan inaugurated the
program by collectively reading a banner, marking the start of the crucial
five-day session.
The inaugural session saw the participation of several
notable figures, including Executive Member Phoolmaya Ghala,
social worker and School Management Committee Chairman Sanjiv Lopchan,
Ward Member Kantalal Dhami, Radio Madhyatarai Manager Pawan
Singh, social worker Mohan Bahadur Khadka, CPN
(Maoist Centre) City Chairman Santosh Dangal, YCL City
Chairman Sudarshan Thapaliya, and Fast Track Media Chairman Maheshwor
Adhikari.
The inaugural ceremony, chaired by program coordinator
Umesh Ghala, featured speeches from Aruna Bik,
Phoolmaya Ghala, Ward Chairman Lopchan, and social worker Sangam
Lopchan.
Approximately 60 women from
Kachhadiya Tole are participating in the training. Over the next five days,
trainer Reshmi Lamichhane will provide instruction to the
attendees. The training is being facilitated by Shantakumar Sapkota,
Managing Director of Salute Singaul.
