Hundreds of people — including elderly residents, students, and children — have already benefitted from the free eye check-ups and received medicines. The hospital’s medical team also provided health advice and raised awareness about eye care.

In honour of its Silver Jubilee, the cooperative is preparing to hold a special general meeting on Kartik 24 and a blood donation camp on Sunday.

The Sagarmatha Cooperative reaffirmed its commitment to continue community-focused services and uphold its social responsibility. Scout students from Gaurishankar Secondary School have volunteered at the camp, lending youthful energy to the initiative.

Founded on Kartik 24, 2057 BS by a group of dedicated teachers, the cooperative has played a vital role over the years in promoting education, health, self-reliance, and social awareness in the region.
