Police Arrest Five Persons with Weapons in Simraungadh, Bara

  Simraungadh, Bara: In a significant operation, the police team of Simraungadh apprehended five individuals with a cache of weapons from Bhagwanpur village in Simraungadh municipality ward number 11.

The arrested individuals include 40-year-old Upendra Patel of Ward No-11 Bhagwanpur, 62-year-old Ruplal Patel, 27-year-old Dhirendra Patel (son of Ruplal Patel), 44-year-old Rajmangal Patel, and 80-year-old Shobha Raut of Rautahat Boudhimai Municipality-2, as confirmed by Bara Police Spokesperson (DSP) Dadhiram Neupane.

The police acted on information suggesting that Upendra Patel of Bhagwanpur was unlawfully concealing weapons in his residence. During the search, a black polythene bag wrapped in a white cloth was discovered, containing a significant arsenal.

Among the recovered weapons were one revolver with seven bullets, one pistol with one bullet, and two KF12 bullets with two rounds.

DSP Dadhiram Neupane stated that although the criminal records of the arrested individuals have not been disclosed, preliminary investigations indicate their involvement in storing weapons and ammunition, hinting at potential connections to major criminal activities.
